De Pere will send four players to the WIAA Division 1 state tennis tournament in Madison. Junior Norah Balthazor (35-2) and freshman Bella Bigari (24-1) will compete at Nos 1 and 2 singles, respectively. Both won sectional titles. The duo of juniors Tristyn Lueck and Audrey Ochsner (26-11) will compete at No. 1 doubles.
The state tournament runs Thursday through Saturday, Oct 17-19, at Nielsen Stadium. Good luck Redbirds!
